Why does a layer of oil appear on the surface of my butter?
The appearance of oil is a natural process that occurs frequently and especially when butter has not been used for some time. It's just the separation of the physical and liquid part (natural oil from nuts) of your butters.
We recommend that, before each use, you mix your butter with the oil well so that everything is coated evenly and becomes creamy.
Do Hard Shell butters use any oil or hydrogenated fats as an ingredient?
No. In the production of our butters we do not use oils or hydrogenated fats.
Are your nut butters vegan?
Hardshell butters to which chocolate is added (Choco Peanut and Peanut Guloso) are not vegan, as the chocolate has or may have traces of milk/lactose.
All other butters can be consumed by people with a vegan lifestyle, as they do not contain any ingredients of animal origin.
Are your products gluten-free?
All of our products are free from gluten ingredients.

Do you have butter without added sugar and/or salt?!

Is it necessary to put my butters in the fridge after opening them?
No, it is not necessary and we do not recommend it, due to the rigidity that butter acquires when placed in the cold.
Casca Rija products must be stored tightly closed, away from sources of heat and light.
Do your products contain genetically modified organisms (GMOs)?
None of the raw materials we use contain GMOs, so our products are GMO-free.
